In the first phase of this project, they had to find a civil contractor who is not afraid to strive for the highest quality and precision.
With a tolerance margin of 15mm, this search was no easy task, but a perfect partner was found in Group Suerickx. The recently established division of Group Suerickx was willing to take on this challenge with their team.
For the construction of floor slabs, containment structures, foundation pedestals, and the positioning of anchor chairs, proper alignment was of utmost importance. Setting out the axes and aligning the anchor chairs just before the start of the concrete works required the presence of a surveyor both before and during execution. It must be said that Group Suerickx demonstrated excellent craftsmanship to bring this to a successful conclusion.
To verify the execution, a control measurement was carried out by an external surveyor, and adjustments were made if necessary.
The result speaks for itself. A civil structure ready to support all major components, with the icing on the cake being a platform internally equipped with multiple HEB 600 beams and one HEB 800 reinforcement beam, ensuring it can handle the heaviest loads.
