Group Suerickx carried out a total renovation project under the name Project Duplo. This project required a multidisciplinary approach, combining demolition and new construction work within a complex industrial environment.

Civil engineering tailored to industrial challenges

Foundation techniques: Drilling and installing micropiles to reinforce the foundation for new structures.
Demolition work: Selective demolition of old concrete pavements with attention to safety and continuity of the site.
New building structure: Construction of a new building structure for electrical installations, built according to the customer's technical requirements.
Chemical-resistant concrete structures: Casting of multiple concrete slabs for sulfuric acid installations, with attention to chemical resistance and sustainable execution.
Cooling water infrastructure: Construction of a new concrete cooling water basin, fully tailored to the process installations.
Prefab and monolithic concrete work: Installation of prefab concrete elements and casting of 1-meter-thick floating concrete slabs—precision work with high structural requirements.
Roads and internal circulation: Construction of concrete roads between the various installation zones, with attention to functional accessibility and drainage.
